Top 15 Christian books for children

One way to convey the divine principles to read with your children, Christian books from an early age. Even young children and for children to hear the truth of God on a daily basis, and colorful picture books are a great way to see it on biblical principles.

As editor of Children's Book Review Christian, I see a lot of books published for children of Christian families. Some are ho-hum at best, but here are some gems that no family should be without.

Adeline KathrynRathke. In this delightful story, a girl who loves a Valentine learns a lesson about the ultimate Valentine's Day: God For children 4 years. (Baker Books, 2004)

Pets Bible by Matt Mitter. With vivid illustrations, rhyming text and animal fake eyes recalls of popular songs for children, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers will love this band. This book is a great way to introduce the stories of the Bible as Balaam and his donkey, the EgyptianPest, like ravens fed Elijah, and more. (Multnomah, 2007)

Thoughts of Big Thinkers little Joey Allen. This is actually a series of four books: The Scriptures, the Gospel, the Trinity, and the mission. Here to speak with intelligence, what specifically Christian Bible and the tenants are explained so that young children (3 to 7) can understand and enjoy. (New Leaf Press, 2005)

The wisdom of God to children by Elizabeth George. If you're a girl, one of the most importantWhat you can do is teach what a Proverbs 31 woman. George has to explain a great job in this important transition from 5 to 8 year old girl. (Harvest House Publishers, 2000)

I talk with God by Debby Anderson. When it's time to teach your children to pray is, this book is a good tool. The images are bright and colorful, and the truth of how to pray (as his God and answer), are told in a fun and enjoyable. For children 2-5 (Crossway Books, 2003)

I'd BeTheir hero, and I your princess Kathryn O'Brien. age for children from 4 to 8 years, these books (one for boys and one for girls) Godly characteristics and explain how important they are. Little Girl's Bible Storybook and Little Boy's Bible Storybook by Carolyn Larsen are good choice for children 6-9 Eachtells stories of the Bible in a nice way, and there are no sections to help the study, the children understand the important biblical concepts. Best of all, there are ideas for parents on how to discuss these concepts with their children. (Baker Books, 1998)

Small, God Made Amy Warren Hilliker. I started reading this book, my daughter when she was a child. Now she is two, and she still loves you! The text is very simple and is an important fact: God hasand loves you just as you are. For children aged under 4. (, Zonderkidz 2004)

Little One's Bible Verses by Stephen Elkins is a great way to introduce even the youngest child of "God". With sweet illustrations of children and infants, and notable quotes from the Psalms, this is a great first "Bible." (Broadman & Holman, 2003)

Jesus' parables told by Ella K. Lindvall. In simple words and colorful pictures, this book says that five dishes, each end with abrief explanation of how to apply the story of real life. The book from 4 to 8 years has been designed, but many younger children can have fun, too. (Moody Publishers, 2000) Sidney and Norman, the story of two pigs by Phil Vischer. Pigs Sidney and Norman are opposed. One is chaotic, the other clean. One thing is always possible, another one. Then the two meet God A pig is to know that God loves him as he is, while the other learns that God created everything ... even chaotic neighbor loves.(Tommy Nelson, 2006)

The Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones is a great Bible for children from 4 to 8, 43 retail stories from Genesis to Revelation. Each story in some way relates to Jesus and who he is, the children of the big picture of what is God. "The text is engaging, as well as illustrations. (, Zonderkidz 2007)

The Lord is My Shepherd by Hans Wilhelm. The size of this book is its simplicity. The text of Psalm 23 is one of the bestand comforting passages in the Bible is paraphrased in the language-friendly baby clings tightly to a modern translation. This book is a great way to introduce children to the word of God for children up in. (Scholastic, 2007)

Wait until then by Randy Alcorn. Every parent wants to explain what happens when you die, how to deal with the death of a loved one, and how to deal with severe disappointment to read this book with their child.Beautifully written and illustrated for children between 9 12 (Tyndale, 2007)

Will: God's warriors Sheila Walsh. Very few Christian books are aimed specifically at children, is a welcome addition. 4-8 years, teaches children's book of God's armor in a Child. (Thomas Nelson, 2006)
